Helping Gifted Kids Cope With Anxiety and Depression
Anxiety and depression in the gifted population is often misunderstood, because the underlying causes for the symptoms can differ greatly from the non-gifted population. This workshop provides parents and teachers with specific tools and techniques to help their gifted and highly sensitive children, teens or students positively manage anxiety and depression. This workshop also includes interactive components for hands-on learning.
Presented at Supporting the Emotional Needs of the Gifted Annual Conference 2014, on July 19, 2014, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, San Jose, California.
