Inner Balance and Pacing
There can be a thin line between a healthy striving to be the best you can be, and a feeling that you must be the best, period. Gifted individuals often feel pressured about this, that they should be more driven, or are expected to be the best, simply because they are gifted. This external pressure might be equally matched by internal stresses, resulting in all sorts of problems, like high reactivity or depression. It seems that finding both inner balance and pacing might be key to walking that line.
